Job Details

  • CVICU experience a plus but not required.
  • Travelers are allowed one call out per contract; a second requires documentation and case-by-case consideration.
  • Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds.
  • Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma center.
  • Unit profile : ICU / CVICU, blended ICU specialty.
  • Role : Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Number of openings : 1.
  • Shift : 7a-7p.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Call requirements : Yes.
  • Float requirements : Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN, ED holding as needed.
  • Patient population : Adult and Geriatric.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair / replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.

    • Job Requirements

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Travel experience is a plus.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 7a-7p.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Call requirements : Yes.
  • No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Flexible shift preference accepted (day or night).

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : ICU / CVICU blended ICU specialty.
  • Number of beds : 16.
  • Patient ratio : 1 : 2.
  • Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and ED holding as needed.
  • Common diagnoses include cardiac events, respiratory failure, stroke, trauma, and complex procedures like CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.
