Job Description

Job Title : Medical Assistant - Cardiology

Location : Fresno, CA

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Pay : $22-$26 per hour (DOE)

Overview :

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy Cardiology practice in Fresno, CA. This position requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and prior experience supporting cardiologists in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities :

• Room patients, take vitals, and document medical history in the EMR system
• Perform EKGs, stress tests, and assist with cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Prepare patients for exams and ensure comfort and confidentiality
• Manage referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate patient charts and update medication lists
• Support physicians with minor procedures and patient education
• Coordinate with labs, imaging centers, and other medical offices as needed
