Simplifying the Complex.
Simplexity is a product development engineering firm, hired by leading technology companies to design their next generation products.
In an industry of overly-complex design and production, we strive for simplicity, reducing product cost and improving reliability for our clients through our Product Development Process.
Why join Simplexity Product Development?
If you’re an engineer who likes variety in your job, you’ll fit right in here.
Simplexity works across a breadth of projects — from robotics and IoT to medical devices, consumer wearables, automation and more.
You won’t be siloed into one tiny piece of the organization; you’ll roll up your sleeves and help solve real, difficult problems for demanding clients who expect excellence.
Our teams are tight, collaborative, and made up of folks who genuinely want to build something cool and delight our customers. Yet that doesn’t mean grinding for 60-hours per week, week-over-week. We believe that quality, creative work can usually be done in 40-45 hours per week and that each employee should own their work-life balance.
What we offer is meaningful engineering, technical growth, and the chance to be on the “front line” of product development. If you thrive on variety and want to work with talented engineers on cutting-edge products, then this could be the place for you.
As a Senior Automation Systems Engineer, you would be leading and participating in the design of automation & robotics systems to solve a variety of interesting problems.
Specific technical responsibilities vary by project; however, it is imperative to have a command of engineering fundamentals across multiple engineering disciplines including mechanics, electronics, control systems and embedded firmware.
The projects will require understanding how these principles are applied to simple, reliable design.
As a senior level role, this job will often require leadership to coordinate and specify deliverables from engineers of other disciplines. Leadership and teamwork skills, as well as written and oral communication skills, are critical to success in this role.
