Lean Manufacturing Engineer – (Syracuse, NY)

We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

This (Mon-Thu 9 hours (7:00 Am to 4:30 pm) and 4 hours Friday (7:00 am to 11:00 am)), and this is an Onsite role in Syracuse, NY.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

• Design a sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Must work well with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Industrial experience (including internship).
• Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Compensation: $35.00/hr - $41.50/hr
