SH-724 Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor / Clinical Psychologist, Raleigh NC
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or Clinical Psychologist, licensed and practicing in North Carolina for a short-term contract workforce wellness project with Wake County Department of Health & Human Services. This program focuses on secondary trauma, burnout, and workforce well-being, providing 10 standalone mental health sessions over 6 weeks.
Hours : 20 Hours per week
Purpose of Position / Summary :
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, practical group sessions to adult staff from diverse backgrounds
- Adapt content to meet participant needs, ensuring each session stands alone
- Provide trauma-informed, people-centered psychoeducation and counseling
- Collaborate with Syra Health and Wake County teams for seamless delivery
- Participate in onboarding and occasional program evaluation / feedback discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements :
Clinician Qualifications Required
Active, unrestricted license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or Clinical Psychologist in North CarolinaProvide group therapy training sessions for clients.License must have been held in North Carolina for a minimum of two yearsExperience working with adult clients in group and / or workplace settingsFamiliarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based short-term therapiesStrong communication and teaching skills; ability to break down complex topicsPreferred / Recommended
Previous experience supporting county, government, or workforce wellness programsComfort facilitating both in-person and virtual sessionsDemonstrated commitment to culturally responsive practice and equityFlexibility, initiative, and professional reliability.Application Instructions :
