Strategic Material Estimator

A company is looking for a Strategic Material Estimator, responsible for negotiating and processing material pricing for customer RFQs.

Key Responsibilities

Execute strategic material quote packages for customer RFQs and analyze product specifications to identify suppliers

Negotiate pricing and perform competitive bids to ensure cost-effective sourcing

Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to develop new suppliers and review supplier performance

Required Qualifications

10 years of experience in a mechanical environment, with hands-on experience preferred

5 years of external material quoting and print / specification reading experience

5 years of Supply Chain experience, including supplier approval and evaluation

Associates or Bachelor's degree, or Journeyman machinist certificate, or equivalent experience

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ERP systems
