Job Overview :

The Accounting Compliance Program Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing payroll accounting compliance activities in line with applicable state and federal regulations and reporting requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and ensuring accuracy in payroll processes.

Highlights of Your Role :

  • Collaborate effectively with compensation, benefits, and accounting teams to ensure seamless compliance with new or expanded programs.
  • Identify and address complex payroll and accounting compliance issues proactively.
  • Oversee payroll tax payment processes and ensure timely quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
  • Manage general ledger entries related to payroll on a monthly and annual basis, including tax postings and reconciliations.
  • Provide vital support during both annual external and internal audit processes.
  • Create, analyze, and communicate ad-hoc reports to support the Sr. Manager of Accounting Compliance and the accounting team.

  • Strong knowledge of employment tax rules in a multifaceted payroll accounting environment.
  • Advanced analytical abilities complemented by strong Excel reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining strong working relationships with various business partners.
  • A demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • An eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Also Want To Make Sure You Have :

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Five years of relevant experience in payroll compliance and accounting processes, specifically in a complex, multi-state environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365, is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with Ultipro is a plus.
