Nordic Center Retail And Rental Cashier

The Nordic Center at the Woodstock Inn & Resort is seeking Nordic Center Retail and Rental Cashiers to join the team. With an extensive network of winter trails throughout Mt. Peg and Mt. Tom, the Nordic Center offers more than 45 km of groomed trails suitable for both skate and classic cross-country skiing. Snowshoers & fat bike riders may utilize the groomed ski trail areas, as well as a series of ungroomed trails for a more invigorating outdoor experience. The Woodstock Nordic Center provides rentals for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, winter clothing, accessories, and trail passes.

Job Summary : The Nordic Center Retail and Rental Cashiers will assist with retail sales and outfit customers with rental equipment.

Job Specifications :

  • Expected Pay Range : starting at $16.00 per hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability : Full-Time and Part-Time Seasonal positions available
  • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • Winter seasonal position starting in November 2025

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and co-workers at the Nordic Center retail and rental shop.
  • Solicit feedback and resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with retail sales, including ticket sales, outdoor clothing, accessories, trail passes, food, beverages, and rental equipment.
  • Maintain retail shop display areas and complete repair orders for all equipment.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Experience with a Point of Sales system is a plus.
