Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Set and achieve sales and profit goals for the Dallas, TX territory.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing key customers while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Engage in regular communication with customers and maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline within the CRM system.
- Contribute to the development of annual sales budgets and ensure effective execution.
- Lead pricing negotiations and establish favorable commercial terms in customer contracts.
- Foster collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across SolvChem.
- Champion a culture of safety by providing exemplary leadership in all company environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, as necessary to support the department's operations and objectives. Flexibility and adaptability are expected in alignment with evolving business needs.
Requirements
Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in the chemical distribution or manufacturing industry.5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or distribution markets.Proven track record of driving sales growth.Demonstrated success in growing and managing a B2B customer territory.An established business network within the Dallas area and prior experience in chemical distribution are a plus.Strong ability to analyze sales trends and communicate financial insights clearly and effectively.High level of decision-making ability, with the capacity to balance customer needs and company objectives.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Experience working with enterprise business systems such as Chempax, SAP, Salesforce, or related ERP, cloud-based systems, BI dashboards, and CRM platforms.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Requirements :

General office environment with physical requirements including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and the use of hands to grasp, handle, feel, and operate various office equipment and tools.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Position may occasionally require long work hours, evening shifts, and occasional work on weekends or holidays, as needed.Must successfully pass the company's drug and alcohol screenings.Disclaimer :
