• Assist with activities of daily living including; help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication management, personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Mobility assistance and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols
• Uphold clients rights while providing care, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction
• Qualifications -
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is preferred
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need
• Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively
• Capability to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively
• Knowledge of memory impairment
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential
