ZUND Cutting Machine Operator

Front Signs is a leading full-service printing and sign-making company in LA. We provide a wide range of signage solutions for both commercial and residential projects. We’re looking for an experienced Zund Cutting Machine Operator to join our team. Salary : 18-25$ per hour, negotiable based on experience Schedule : Monday to Friday Responsibilities Set up and operate Zund cutting machine with high proficiency to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Set up and program the Zund cutting machine based on job specifications. Ensure all production materials and cutting blades are at the cutter before set-up Determine the best utilization of master sheet, cutting to customers’ specifications Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective action on equipment to detect malfunctions and to achieve maximum machine performance Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines. Perform routine maintenance tasks on the Zund cutting machine. Requirements Proven experience as a Zund Cutting Machine Operator or similar role. Proficient in setting up and operating Zund cutting machines. Strong understanding of cutting machine programming and troubleshooting. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Technical training or certification in cutting machine operation is a plus.
