Laboratory Tech II (PRN)

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department!

Description :

The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic / serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases.

Requirements :

• National certification as an MT / MLS / MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) preferred
• Two years Lab Tech I or II experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in MLS and 1 year of experience or an Associate's degree in MLT and 2 years of experience required.
• Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required
