Role : Java Backend Developer

Location : Cincinnati, OH

5+ years of Java Development

Apache Kafka

AWS

Dynatrace

Jenkins

Kubernetes

Microservices

Mobile / Web Development

RESTful APIs

Splunk

Spring Boot

Terraform

Required Technical Skills

5+ years of hands-on backend development using Java

Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture

Experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven systems

Proficiency with AWS (Lambda, ECS / EKS, S3, API Gateway, RDS / DynamoDB, etc.)

Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments

Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code

Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tools)

Experience using Dynatrace and / or Splunk for monitoring and logging

Understanding of backend support for mobile apps (authentication, performance, scalability)
