Description :

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND.

Specialty : MICU.

Shift : 3x12 Nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 30).

Weekend requirements : Every other weekend.

First-time travelers accepted.

Unit consists of 16 beds.

Patients include sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, and post-cardiac arrest with targeted temperature management.

Responsibilities include managing respiratory failure, shock, CRRT, EKOS, IABP, and ECMO.

Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 2, with occasional 1 : 1 based on acuity.

Daily census is approximately 16 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Candidates may be required to float.

Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.
