The ideal candidate will share our passion for specialized therapy, including Autism, Gestalt Language Processing, Literacy Development, AAC, and Sensory Integration. We are committed to providing therapy that is play-based, child-led, and rooted in neurodiversity-affirming practices, with an emphasis on family coaching and consultation.This position offers a hybrid schedule, with the opportunity to provide services both in the Delaware school setting (supporting preschoolers aged 3-5 and / or elementary aged students) as well as our outpatient clinic location in Wilmington, Delaware to pediatric clients. You will have the flexibility to design a schedule that works best for you!
- Qualifications :
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathology Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Considering recent graduates / Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to build rapport with children, families, therapists, and school staff
- Positive, patient demeanor and a passion for helping children
- Knowledge of AAC, Autism, Gestalt Language Processing, Literacy Development, and / or Sensory Integration is a plus!

- Responsibilities :
- Provide therapy services in both school and outpatient clinic settings, working between 30-40 hours per week
- Collaborate closely with families and other professionals using a coaching and collaboration model
- Implement individualized therapy treatments in accordance with students' IEPs
- Assess and develop / revise therapy interventions, objectives, and goals for each child
- Provide consultative services and support to parents in their child's therapy program
- Conduct evaluations to assess the individual needs of each child
