Locum Tenens Opportunity : Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position in the Ladysmith, WI area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established healthcare team, providing essential coverage starting late April with an ongoing commitment.

Practice Details

  • Coverage Schedule :

    • M-F, 8-5

  • Outreach to neighboring clinics is required : Chippewa Falls Center and MMC-Ladysmith. Schedule TBD.
  • Provider Team :

    • 2 MDs

  • 3 NPs (2 NPs in their 1st year of practice)
  • Additional Services :

    • Radiation oncology services available at the Eau Claire location

  • The Cancer Center has 18 Chemo infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs
  • Patient Load :

    • Patients Per Shift : 25-30

  • Ambulatory and hospital patients
  • Procedures :

    • Bone marrow biopsies required

  • Call Schedule : 1 : 3 call

    • Requirements

  • Board Certification : Required
  • Fellowship : Required
  • Minimum Board Certification : Eligible
  • Active License in WI : Preferred
  • ACLS Certification : Yes
  • ATLS Certification : Yes
  • BLS Certification : Yes
  • PALS Certification : No

    • Credentialing Details

  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days) : 60 (if clean file)
  • Reimbursement for Licensing Costs : No
