Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ER

Job Details :

  • Night shift schedule with rotating weekends
  • Active Wisconsin RN licensure required
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
  • Experienced ER RN position
  • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
  • Document care according to standards of care
  • Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care
  • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide patient and family instruction
  • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
  • Utilize clinical expertise to guide other units and departments
  • Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience
  • Participate in professional nursing continuum processes and peer review
