Accepting applications for a Service Technician position at our Pawcatuck location. Our primary repair types are our own used vehicles and maintenance / light repairs for our customer base. We work on a variety of vehicle makes. No nights, no weekends! Applicants must have own tools, clean driving record, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery / equipment and perform timely repairs
• Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on a limited amount of equipment in the facility
• Perform timely facility / building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Dismantle defective machines / equipment and install new or repaired equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
• Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
• Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
• Participate in, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives and requirements
