Position Overview : Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in urgent and emergent situations, demonstrating clinical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families

Qualifications :

Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Emergency Room nursing

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

TNCC and PALS preferred

Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment
