As a Product Support Engineer III, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You'll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. You're technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error / defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command / control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities :

• Administer and support daily operations of Windows and Linux servers, and networking devices ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and availability.
• Manage network configurations to optimize performance and ensure security compliance.
• Implement regular system updates and patches, minimizing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
• Harden systems by configuring and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for deployment automation, striving for increased efficiency in our operational processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical issues and strategies to management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Performs troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex.
• Configure Virtual Environments such as VMware Horizon, VMware vSphere.
• Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
• Conducts advance software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
• Applies advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
