We are seeking a certified Montessori Infant to join our nurturing community in Decatur.
The ideal candidate is organized, efficient with time management, has strong instincts for child development, and can gracefully balance the daily needs of the classroom and its students.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher); education-related fields preferred
  
  
• Montessori Certification (AMI, AMS, PMI, or MACTE-accredited training)
  
  
• Minimum 3 years of Montessori classroom teaching experience
  
  
• Deep familiarity with Montessori philosophy and a positive, respectful view of children
  
  
• Loving, patient, responsible, and committed to child-centered education and fostering independence
  
  
• Open to learning, solutions-oriented, and a strong team player

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a high-quality, safe, and clean Montessori environment
  
  
• Observe and document each child's growth, interests, and areas for development on a regular basis
  
  
• Collaborate with the Education Director and/or Principal to address individual student needs
  
  
• Engage with children in a warm, joyful, and respectful manner, promoting independence and confidence
  
  
• Adhere to established school standards and the Montessori curriculum
  
  
• Communicate regularly with parents through parent conferences, progress reports, and timely updates on student development
  
  
• Participate actively in community events, classroom celebrations, and parent events
