Job descriptionshort-term bridge loans for fix & flip investors and long-term rental loans for landlords building their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and consistently delivers aggressive quarterly growth, with an average origination volume of $70MM per month. We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to join our growing team and contribute to our ongoing success. Integrity Accountable & Dependable Team Centric System & Process Oriented Service Ethic Organized Efficiency - Risk Management & Compliance Your Impact : Play a key role in driving sound investment decisions that directly impact company profitability and growth. Safeguard DFS against risk by ensuring underwriting accuracy and adherence to company standards. Help maintain DFS’s reputation as an industry leader by supporting high loan quality, efficient closings, and exceptional client outcomes. Analyze single-family residential real estate transactions Assess construction and rehabilitation budgets Prepare detailed financial analyses and investment summaries Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Adapt to changing company strategies and processes Utilize Excel and Word for analysis and reporting Leverage MLS and / or CoStar experience (a plus) Requirements : Background in single-family residential real estate Experience in real estate finance Construction and rehab knowledge Critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-moving environment Strong Excel and Word skills Excellent verbal and written communication MLS / CoStar experience a plus Preferred Qualifications : Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills Exceptional attention to detail Focused and self-motivated Demonstrated knowledge of construction and rehabbing Benefits : Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off While At Dominion You Will Enjoy Company outings & social events Virtual events Companywide competitions and raffles Personal financial workshops Orioles season tickets Powered by JazzHR
