This role is field‑based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. This geography covers Des Moines, Lincoln and Omaha and surrounding areas.
Base pay range : $78,500.00 / yr – $192,500.00 / yr.

Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre‑call plans using SMART objectives and execute post‑call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
- Proactively serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan that maximizes coverage and frequency to key customers, enhancing access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, and share market intelligence with the in‑field team, brand team, and sales manager.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and identify, develop, and maintain disease‑state experts and speakers / advocates to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business‑related field preferred; equivalent coursework or industry experience acceptable.At least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical / health / science industry, with a high‑school diploma / GED required.In‑depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.Proven track record of sales success and presentation skills; adapts quickly to customer styles.Influences peers, leads by example, and demonstrates positive behaviors in a matrix environment.Documented leadership and support experience at district, region, or organizational levels.Preferred : Proven sales performance within therapeutic areas; experience in physician / account‑based selling, training, or marketing preferred.English language proficiency for verbal and written communication.Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain eligibility.Key Stakeholders
External : Specialty Physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other brand plan stakeholders.Internal : In‑field team members, Sales Management (DSM), Marketing Management, Training, Customer Excellence, and Brand Plan stakeholders.Additional Information
