Remote Principal AI Developer

A company is looking for a Principal AI / ML Developer to lead the design and development of advanced AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable applications using large language models (LLMs) and develop effective retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines

Design, train, and optimize machine learning models, building end-to-end ML pipelines and monitoring model performance

Manage versioning for prompts and models, implement observability for workflows, and ensure responsible AI practices

Required Qualifications

8+ years in software / AI development, with 3+ years focused on LLMs or deep learning systems

Proficiency in Python (and / or Java), cloud-based data pipelines, and MLOps tools

Hands-on experience with models such as OpenAI or Anthropic and familiarity with prompt engineering

Experience integrating AI into enterprise cloud ecosystems

Deep understanding of NLP, conversational systems, and responsible AI design principles
