Description : Primary Function :
The Site Coordinator will, in collaboration with the Program Coordinator, supervise the ULBGC - Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program, including but not limited to programs and activities in the areas of academic achievement and education, sports and physical activities, recreation, mentoring, social emotional learning and technology. In addition, he / she will communicate and collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents regarding 21st CCLC program.
Specific Functions :
- Implement the Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable of the program goals, objectives and outcomes.
- Develop and implement the outreach efforts, coordinating with local community partners, to ensure the required number of students is recruited.
- Support retention efforts designed to retain ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC participants and ensure their regular attendance to meet all program performance goals.
- Ensure all program performance goals are met and outcomes evaluation efforts are managed effectively to meet goals.
- Oversee the intake and tracking of the recruited participants.
- Complete the required monthly reports and submit them to Vice-President.
- Complete the required reporting forms accurately and on time for supervisor review.
- Coordinate all evaluation efforts required by the program.
- Market and promote ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program to the community
- Develop and maintain successful community and school partnerships and the operation of the ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC Advisory Council.
Program Development and Implementation :
Work with ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey Program and Academic Coordinator to prepare for site and weekly sessions, and recruiting students.Conduct weekly staff meetings.Work with the ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC administration to gain additional funding sources for the program.Ensure a productive work environmentManage all budgetary and inventory needs of the ULBGC – Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC program.Supervision
Supervise Program Coordinator, Academic Coordinators, Activity Specialists, and Security Guard, and assure a safe environment for all staff, volunteers, students, parents, and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree from accredited college or universityDemonstrated experience working with youthPossess the ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environmentAbility to communicate effectively using written and oral communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and able to accept supervision and guidanceExperience working in an after-school settingPrefer First Aid / CPR certification, or will train
