Mechanical Technician

The Technician will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing laboratory systems that support emissions testing and energy management operations. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a passion for advanced systems, preventative maintenance, and hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced, collaborative lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding Engineering Maintenance and Technical Support activities, including daily operations and future planning initiatives.
• Monitor ongoing maintenance and project tasks, providing regular updates to leadership and proactively identifying potential roadblocks.
• Act as a technical resource to internal teams and suppliers, supporting all aspects of engineering maintenance and system operations.
• Develop, implement, and manage a preventative maintenance system and related plans for key facility infrastructure supporting testing activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on laboratory infrastructure, including process HVAC, electrical distribution, machine repair, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging test equipment and technologies, including commissioning, safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
