Job Summary : Support safety and environmental initiatives across multi-plant manufacturing operations to ensure consistent safety standards, regulatory compliance, and a proactive safety culture across all facilities. Utilize strong communication skills and leverage knowledge of MIOSHA / OSHA regulations and hands-on experience in industrial environments to help prepare employees to complete job requirements in a safe manner.

Essential Functions :

• Develop and deliver standardized safety training programs across multiple manufacturing sites, including leading train the trainer activities, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions on topics such as machine safety, lockout / tagout, PPE usage, chemical handling, emergency response, etc.
• Collaborate with plant managers and EHS teams to assess site-specific risks and tailor training accordingly.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through audits, incident trends, and employee feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications across all locations.
• Stay current with evolving safety regulations and manufacturing best practices and update training content accordingly.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify training gaps and corrective actions.
• Travel regularly to manufacturing sites across multiple states and international.
