Producibility Engineer PWB / PWA (Remote)

We are looking for a Producibility Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will will provide product engineering support to Printed Wiring Board / Printed Wiring Assembly (PWB / PWA) design activities for ground-based, air-borne, surface ship and undersea programs. Will interact with PWB Designers, Electrical / Mechanical Engineers and production facilities.

This is an 11-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week ( 4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in the US.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities :

• Work as a member of the Integrated Product Development teams throughout the design process to ensure PWB / PWA designs are optimized for manufacturing.
• Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews of PWB / PWA designs to ensure producibility goals are met within technical, cost and schedule requirements.
• Support the transition of designs to manufacturing by providing technical support to both internal and external facilities.
• Assist in the resolution of design issues identified during production.
• Keep DFM standards up to date with improvements in manufacturing process capabilities.
• Perform trade studies of alternative design approaches and make recommendations to the design team.

Compensation : $100 / hr - $110 / hr
