SAP Integration Consultant

Hybrid Remote - periodic travel to Newark, DE

Your role in our success :

We are seeking an SAP Integration Consultant to architect, develop, and manage effective integrations using the SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) to connect SAP S / 4HANA with other systems. You will take charge of the entire integration process—from designing iFlows and Groovy scripts to testing and performance monitoring—ensuring that our technical solutions align with our business goals. Experience with CPEA entitlements and foundational services such as Destinations, Cloud Connector, and XSUAA will be beneficial.

What you’ll be working on :

• Solution Design & Development

Creating and implementing iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) with a focus on API-led and event-driven methodologies.

Writing efficient and maintainable Groovy scripts for various tasks including mappings, validations, exception handling, and custom adapters.

Maintaining high-quality data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems while safeguarding PII and sensitive information through encryption and secure credential management.

Overseeing level 2 and level 3 support for integration incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing proactive solutions.

Managing and securing APIs through SAP API Management by employing policies for OAuth2 / JWT, API keys, mTLS, and more.

Creating detailed design specifications, sequence diagrams, interface catalogs, operational guides, and runbooks.

Collaborating with SAP functional leads to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.

Monitoring system performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and error rates, and optimizing system configurations accordingly.
