Title : CVOR Surgical Technologist

Location : Germantown, TN

Duration : 13 weeks (Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025)

Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (08 : 00 – 17 : 00) or 5x8-Hour (40 hrs / week), with call required

Job Responsibilities :

Assist surgeons and operating room staff during cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.

Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and operating room safety standards.

Anticipate surgeon needs and support efficient workflow throughout procedures.

Collaborate with the surgical team to promote high-quality patient care.

Participate in required call rotations as part of shift duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of OR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience with prior travel experience, or

3 years of OR CST experience if no prior travel experience.

Certification :

NBSTSA certification required (no substitutions accepted).

Education :

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Additional Requirements : \nMust live at least 100 miles from the facility (strict requirement).\nMust be willing to work holiday shifts per assignment guidelines.\nAll requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.\n\nVaccinations : \nFlu vaccine required (no exemptions).\nCOVID -19 vaccine not required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \nPrior travel contract experience.\nExperience working in a high-volume operating room setting.\nFamiliarity with Cerner EMR system preferred.\n
