Purchase direct materials as required ensuring quality, lead time and cost efficiency; ensure correct materials are available in the right quantity at the right time to meet production needs
Act as the daily operational contact between purchasing, manufacturing sites, warehouses and vendors; communicate deviations and adjust timelines when necessary.
Work with the Procurement Manager to negotiate commercial conditions with suppliers to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
Anticipate and resolve supply issues to minimize operational impact and avoid production downtime; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.
Establish and strengthen partnerships with suppliers to facilitate negotiations, improve responsiveness and resolve inconveniences.
Control the internal invoice management system; resolve discrepancies; support supplier set-up and master data accuracy
Address excess and obsolete materials within the assigned scope to ensure appropriate supply levels and cost commitments, including proposing solutions to minimize impact.

Background :
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or related field strongly preferred
5 years experience in Operational Procurement and Purchasing necessary
Strong SAP experience required, with a focus on key Supply Chain and Procurement functions
History of negotiation and partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills
