Short Description

  • This position provides opportunities for growth and development as an independent investigator in NIH and other grant funded research and enhances professional skills in academia.
  • Accountable to the Primary Investigator and Director of Grants and Research, this role conducts specific research projects related to Addiction Medicine Services in inpatient, outpatient, and community-service environments.
  • The Research Scientist will provide intellectual and technical support to research programs and initiatives, including utilization of implementation of science approaches and best practice.

Experience Required

3-5 years' experience required.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree required.

Doctorate Degree preferred.

Special Requirements

Biomedical Sciences / Biology / Life Sciences field of study.

Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.

Background in molecular biology and / or genetics preferred.

Published track records of working with pulmonary models of transgenic / knock out mice preferred.
