The Personal Lines Account Manager serves as a trusted client service professional, providing ongoing support to clients throughout each insurance renewal cycle and managing day-to-day service needs. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency with agency and carrier systems. Account Managers are experts in personal lines coverage and carriers, using their knowledge to deliver solutions and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate service to clients.
Manage individual workload effectively, ensuring all assignments are completed accurately and on schedule.
Communicate professionally with clients, prospects, carriers, and internal team members.
Serve as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and related service providers.
Utilize multiple internal and external systems (including agency management and HRIS platforms) to assist clients while maintaining documentation according to established workflows.
Maintain required state-specific insurance licenses and complete all Continuing Education requirements.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
Foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and business partners.
Collaborate effectively within the team and assist with special projects as assigned.
Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, clients, and internal team members.
Identify and resolve complex insurance and risk management issues.
Provide actionable insights and guidance to clients.
Mentor and support the development of future Account Managers.
Effectively manage an assigned book of business using the most current technology and tools.
Coordinate renewals with clients and producers.
Oversee the preparation and distribution of certificates of insurance and auto ID cards and any additional client services.
Requirements
Education and Experience :
Current Kansas Property & Casualty insurance license and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency.
