Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a hybrid position in Dublin, OH.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and tools to validate enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and continuous testing standards.
  • Implement automated tests across all layers — API, UI, integration, and performance — to ensure full coverage of the software delivery pipeline.
  • Drive quality and reliability by integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Identify, isolate, and report defects with clarity, and work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Establish and champion best practices for test automation, code quality, and maintainability.
  • Mentor and guide other QA and engineering team members, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 years focused on test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or Postman.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, including unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI / CD environments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with API testing, mocking / stubbing, and data-driven testing.
  • Experience working with cloud-based systems (AWS preferred) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience validating data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
  • Knowledge of BDD / TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JUnit / TestNG.
  • Familiarity with microservices testing, event-driven architectures, or contract testing (e.g., Pact).
  • Understanding of healthcare data standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) or regulated environments.
  • Background in scaling automated testing within large or growing organizations
