Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre-school teachers or Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role plays a crucial part in implementing behavior intervention plans and helping clients acquire essential life skills.
Responsibilities :
Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) under the guidance of a BCBA to determine the root causes of challenging behaviors.Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA programs based on client-specific goals and objectives.Providing one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinical environments.Collecting and recording data on client progress during therapy sessions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.Assisting in the development and modification of ABA programs as needed to address client's changing needs and progress.Collaborating closely with the BCBA and other members of the treatment team to maintain open communication and ensure consistent implementation of therapy plans.Conducting parent / caregiver training sessions to teach and reinforce ABA techniques, allowing for generalization of skills in the client's natural environment.Providing a supportive and nurturing environment for clients to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.Adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines.Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest ABA research and best practices.Qualifications :
