Job description :

The Sous Chef will play a vital leadership role in our kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and hygiene. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of fine dining cuisine, modern techniques, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and execution of all menus.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure impeccable standards and consistency.
  • Supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and respect.
  • Assist in planning and developing seasonal menus, tastings, and specials.
  • Maintain inventory control, manage food costs, and minimize waste.
  • Enforce strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP).
  • Ensure efficient kitchen workflows, especially during high-pressure service periods.
  • Step into the role of Executive Chef in their absence.

What You Bring :

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining.
  • Deep knowledge of international cuisines, plating techniques, and fine dining standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain poise and professionalism at all times.
  • Passion for excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Compensation Package :

  • Salary Range : $60K to $63K
