We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to lead social-first marketing efforts across a dynamic portfolio of three real estate brands. This role will focus on building systems, empowering local team members, and executing engaging, localized content strategies that reflect each brand's identity.
The ideal candidate is warm, dynamic, highly collaborative, and brand-savvy, able to shift tone, visual style, and messaging with precision. They thrive in teaching moments, whether mentoring junior team members or sharing expertise across departments. A natural team collaborator, they excel at working thoughtfully with agents, staff, and fellow creatives, fostering an environment where empathy, creativity, and leadership bring talented individuals together to do inspired work.

This position plays a key role in the Tomlinson Creative Team. They are the social media expert, leading and staying current with industry knowledge. They are both thought leaders and skillful tactical executors.

OFFICE PRESENCE & COLLABORATION
This position requires intentional in-office presence 2-3 days per week at our offices located throughout North Idaho and the Spokane area. The successful candidate will split their time between productive remote work and collaborative on-site work, allowing for direct coordination with local teams, hands-on content creation, and face-to-face training sessions with agents and staff.
Overnight and day travel may be required approximately 6-8 times per year (WA / ID / MT), with more frequent travel expected during the first 12-18 months of employment. Additional travel may occasionally be necessary for team collaboration, training, or relevant industry and brand conferences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage monthly content strategies across three core brands, tailoring five distinct campaigns that reflect each brand's tone, values, and audienceCollaborate with Agent Services Experts (ASEs) to implement localized content systems and develop their creative confidence and execution abilitiesPartner with the Tomlinson Creative Team to execute integrated campaigns utilizing professional video, AI, automation, and streamlined toolsCapture, create, edit, and produce compelling photo and video content for social platforms using tools like CapCut, Captions, and Instagram editing toolsTrain and educate agents and staff through virtual sessions, tutorials, and in-person workshops on social media and design tools (especially Canva and video editing apps)Track, analyze, and report performance metrics, using insights to refine strategy and drive growthStay current on emerging trends, tools, and algorithm updates across platforms, especially those impacting real estate and luxury marketingProvide expert guidance on social best practices, platform tactics, content trends, and audience engagement strategiesContribute to company-wide communications and assist with graphic design projects as neededREQUIREMENTS
Expert-level Canva knowledge including brand kit management, AI features (Magic Design, Background Remover, Text to Image), animation tools, and advanced template customization for cohesive visual storytelling across multiple brand identitiesSocial media video editing experience using tools like CapCut and Instagram internal editing features, with ability to train othersMobile photography and basic photo editing skills; comfortable capturing engaging images and producing visual content in the field and editing through Lightroom Mobile or other appsConfident communicator and educator, capable of leading training initiatives with internal teams and agentsDeep understanding of major social platforms (Meta / Facebook / Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), digital strategy, and paid ad performanceExperience crafting both "low-production" video and cohesive, high-level campaigns, with ability to work on high-production projects with the Tomlinson Creative TeamEDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or related field preferredDigital Marketing or Social Media Marketing certifications are a plusCandidates with significant hands-on experience and demonstrated success in social media campaigns may be considered even without a formal degreeBONUS QUALIFICATIONS
