About The Position

Job Title : Level 2 Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of two (2) years

License : RN License (New York)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• Stepdown / PCU experience
• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience
• Telemetry experience

Description :

Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice, the Level 2 Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards.

The Level 2 Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Experience in neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3% NS and Cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil / clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizures is required.
