Are you a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents? Join our team as a School-Based Therapist! In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic support to students within their school setting, work closely with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals. You will provide services in Elementary, Middle and High schools throughout Barrow County, GA. You will be responsible for scheduling student sessions, based on the schools operating hours. Organization and attention to detail will play a strong role in your ability to maximize the number of students that you can see daily.

Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy sessions to students
Conduct assessments to determine students' mental health needs
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress
Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to students and families

Requirements

Master’s degree in social work or a related field or Master's degree in a counseling-related field

Valid state licensure or licensure eligible

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Ability to travel between schools

Must carry a professional liability policy

Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with students and staff

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in mental health care

Benefits :

Annual license renewal reimbursement : $100
