Title Examiner Abstractor

Emerald Energy and Exploration Land Company, one of the fastest-growing land management and acquisition agencies in the country, is currently accepting applications for experienced Title Examiner / Abstractors in Kentucky.

Here are some of the things you'll be doing :

• Research public records and examine titles to determine the legal condition of property title
• Knowledge of researching public records
• Ability to compile and prepare chains of title, and make abstracts of title with summaries of all matters and instruments of record
• Interpret deeds, easements, plats, leases, court actions, probates, and other documents impacting property ownership
• Complete documents that include title acquisition packages and title commitments
• Identify possible title defects, prepare title-related correspondence based on searches, opinion letters, title evidence, and prior policies
