Board-Up Technician
Blue Island, IL 60406
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Board-Up Technician to join our fast-paced emergency response team. If you are skilled with tools, take pride in helping people during a crisis, and want to be part of a company that values your work — this could be the job for you!
WHAT DOES A BOARD UP TECHNICIAN DO?
- Secure residential and commercial properties affected by fire, flood, storms, break-ins, or vehicle impact
- Install emergency board-ups and tarps
- Conduct roof inspections and temporary repairs following storm damage
- Perform basic carpentry and use power tools
- Assist with facility maintenance and other field service tasks as needed
- Respond to after-hours calls as part of an on-call rotation
- Collect signatures on service agreements and document damage onsite
