Automotive Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicles, including GM and diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all automotive services are performed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.

Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and performance.

Interpret schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot issues accurately.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.

Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for repairs.

Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency and quality.

Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Skills

Proven dealership experience is highly desirable.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.

Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.

Proficiency in working with various automotive systems, including alignment, maintenance, and diesel engine repair.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
