Job descriptionAct as a key member of management; understand the business, financials, industry, customers, and strategy. Supervise employees, provide direction, coaching, training, and performance management. Support team members, promote efficient operations, quality care, and excellent customer service for pediatric patients. Participate in staff development and education, ensuring compliance with quality projects and improvement plans. Develop and maintain processes supporting physicians and clinical staff for patient flow, documentation, and communication. Manage department budget and control expenditures. Maintain facilities, equipment, and supplies in high quality condition, arranging repairs as needed. Ensure appropriate inventory levels and facilitate procurement of supplies and equipment. Provide care that addresses physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages. Conduct annual performance evaluations for staff. Perform other duties as required. Leadership and team collaboration skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience with healthcare organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy policies. Bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of experience, or Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with five years of relevant experience. Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.
