Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float ICU position with current MA RN license and strong trauma background.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital environment on the Critical Care Float team
  • Patients will include adults in multiple ICU settings across the hospital
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Floating among various ICU units as needed
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Must complete pre-employment and orientation modules, including occasional education requirements in Workday
  • Pass / fail Tele exam required during orientation with only one attempt allowed
  • Team-based float role supports critical care units as needed
  • Holiday coverage is expected on a rotating schedule
  • Only candidates residing more than 200 miles from the facility will be considered for travel positions
  • Call-outs must be made up at the end of the assignment

  • Active MA RN license in hand required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • At least 3 years of ICU experience required, 5 or more years in a level 1 trauma facility preferred
  • Pass / fail EKG exam during orientation with a required score of 80% or higher
  • Must provide 2 professional references, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
  • Must have no prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
