We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to join our team in Apopka. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment, including dozers, lulls, loaders, excavators, and skid steers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, lulls, loaders, excavators, and skid steers efficiently and safely.
• Perform equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during equipment operation.

Work Environment

The role is based in an outdoor plant environment, which can be hot during warmer months. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots and hard hats.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apopka, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 / hr.
