Job Title : Pharmaceutical Fill Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Pharmaceutical Technician, working Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5 : 30pm in a 4x10 shift pattern . In this role, you will operate vial wash and packaging production equipment, supply materials, clean equipment, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. You will also troubleshoot basic issues and assist with training.
Responsibilities
- Operate all assigned equipment according to established methods and procedures, including setup, operation, and cleaning.
- Ensure configurations are correct and check for leaks or anomalies, communicating issues immediately.
- Complete operational documentation per SOP and manage tagging, palletizing, and placement of returned and rejected items.
- Review area production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain open communication with management, providing updates and corrective measures.
- Exchange work status information with management and coworkers.
- Maintain a clean work environment using appropriate cleaning solutions and prescribed methods.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and glassware as per established methods and schedules.
- Handle raw materials and components according to prescribed methods, including weighing, dispensing, and formulating solutions.
- Respond immediately to equipment alarms or malfunctions, communicating conditions to subject matter experts.
- Assist coworkers in the production of finished products within SOP time limits.
- Manage the receipt, shipping, and stocking of plant uniforms, scrub uniforms, garments, and supplies for clean rooms and sterile core.
- Assist with special projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and company policies.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.One or more years of experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment, or in cleanroom filling.Experience in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.Basic mechanical skills related to equipment operation.Knowledge of specialized equipment such as packaging, wash, and sanitizing equipment.Understanding and compliance with GMP regulations (preferred).Proficiency in general computer functions, including Microsoft Office.Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.Safety sensitivity and the ability to recognize potential safety issues.Time management skills for personal and team tasks.Attention to detail, quality, accuracy, sterility, and aseptic techniques.Effective communication skills with coworkers and management.Mathematical skills, including measurements and conversions.Ability to recognize deviations and anomalies and communicate them immediately.Critical thinking skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Adherence to personal hygiene standards and SOPs.Ability to wear protective attire and handle materials correctly.Problem-solving skills in situations with limited standardization.Flexibility in work hours.Ability to build and maintain partnerships within the organization.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of GMP regulations is preferred but not required.Work Environment
Work in a clean room, lab, and production environment. Protective attire is required, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Syracuse,NY.
