Summary :
- The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and securing new opportunities in engineering design for commercial and government facilities and process equipment, primarily in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in engineering design for commercial and government facilities and process equipment, primarily in the nuclear industry.Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to support long-term growth and repeat business.Lead the full proposal development lifecycle—from opportunity assessment and capture planning to final submission and post-award debriefs.Analyze RFPs / RFQs and other solicitations to extract key requirements, evaluation criteria, and strategic positioning.Develop and execute proposal strategies, including win themes, differentiators, and response outlines.Facilitate proposal-related meetings such as kickoff sessions, solution development workshops, and color team reviews.Coordinate contributions from technical experts, project managers, pricing teams, and executive leadership to ensure cohesive and compliant proposals.Write and edit proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client expectations and firm capabilities.Maintain a library of reusable proposal content, templates, graphics, and project descriptions to streamline future efforts.Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop client-facing materials and presentations.Track business development and proposal activities in CRM systems; prepare pipeline reports and executive summaries.Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote services and expand visibility.Support teaming strategies, subcontractor relationships, and joint venture development for complex project pursuits.Monitor industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategy.Ensure proposals meet all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements in coordination with compliance and legal teams.Qualifications :
Proven experience in business development and proposal management within an engineering, architecture, or facility design firm.Strong understanding of conceptual design, facility planning, and integrated project delivery models.Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with government contracting, procurement processes, and proposal best practices.Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and proposal development software.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, CPSM, APMP) preferred.Benefits :
