We are seeking a skilled cherry picker operator to join our team and assist with order selecting in our large pick section located in Upper Marlboro, MD. This role involves working from 2 : 30 pm until completion, depending on the collective speed and the day's order volume. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling and transporting products weighing between 2 lbs to 75 lbs using a cherry picker. This position requires an experienced operator with a background in large distribution centers, possessing at least two years of daily cherry picker operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker to transport products safely and efficiently.
• Select and retrieve orders from the large pick section.
• Handle products ranging from 2 lbs to 75 lbs.
• Navigate narrow racks using a wire guidance system to prevent accidents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Meet daily productivity targets for order pulls and accuracy.

Work Environment

The work environment is a massive, fast-paced warehouse exceeding 220,000 square feet, featuring over 25 bay doors and various electrical parts. The area is organized by racks and includes a wire room section. As a new facility that opened in February 2024, it provides a clean and structured environment, with every employee expected to contribute to the cleanliness and organization of their workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
