Provides patient care for the unit/department by optimizing operations and organizational efficiencies while promoting a world class environment.

Education: Graduate of accredited surgical technician program. Certification in Surgical Technology required with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status who then must demonstrate competence as described in Indiana Code concerning professions and occupations.
Licensure: Not applicable, certification required. 15 CEU's for those in grandfather status.
Experience: Previous hospital or healthcare experience, clinical experience. Basic Life Support. 15 continuing education units for those in grandfather status.
