Job Summary :

Lendz Financial is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lock Desk Manager to lead our lock desk team and play a pivotal role in our fast-growing mortgage operations. This position is based in our Fort Lauderdale office, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

As Lock Desk Manager, you will oversee a small team of specialists, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all lock desk functions. This is a leadership role that combines team management with hands-on expertise—you'll guide and mentor your team while also jumping in to handle lock desk duties when needed, and will collaborate closely with the sales team to address questions, resolve escalations, and ensure seamless communication across departments.

This is a fully remote role. Working hours will be dependent on candidate's location and time zone.

What You'll Do :

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of lock desk specialists, providing ongoing training and feedback.
• Oversee daily lock desk workflow to ensure lock requests, re-pricing, and extensions are handled quickly and accurately.
• Set and monitor team performance metrics (KPIs), ensuring service levels and compliance standards are consistently met.
• Partner closely with secondary marketing, operations, and sales leadership to streamline processes and resolve escalated issues.
• Communicate market and investor updates to the team, ensuring timely adoption of changes.
• Identify process gaps and implement solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.
